The mission of the Nevada State Board of Cosmetology is to protect the public health, safety, and welfare of those that obtain cosmetology related services through the delivery of quality Testing, Licensing, Inspection, and Education Services that focus on consumer protection. ( NRS 644A & NAC 644A)The State Board of Cosmetology consisting of seven members appointed by the Governor is hereby created. 2. The Board must consist of four cosmetologists, one nail technologist, one esthetician and one member representing customers of cosmetology.
