The last time I went out trap shooting, I used a single shot .410 that I paid $80 for at a pawn shop. Broke 13 the first round, 15 the second. Had a great time.Semi: 5%. I've pulled for guys/gals that shoot 50's with all of the above though.. so just depends on what fits you best and works for you. I went from borrowing a buddies cheap O/U (shooting 20's) to getting a used semi Remington 1100 Trap and one session later and shooting 40's. Reminton 1100 Trap 30" Modified.For an O/U.
