Sep 15, 2019 · Monet: The Late Years is organized by the Kimbell Art Museum and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, with the exceptional support of the Musée Marmottan Monet, Paris. The exhibition is supported by an indemnity from the Federal Council on the Arts and the Humanities and a grant from the Leo Potishman Foundation, JP Morgan Chase, Trustee. Seven months after Kay Kimbell’s death, the board of directors of the Kimbell Art Foundation announced jointly with the mayor of Fort Worth the selection of a nine-and-a-half-acre site for the proposed museum to house the Kimbell collection and future acquisitions.
