I have previously owned an Hk91 and a PTR91 Scout Carbine w/ the rail. I found it much easier to retain a zero with the rail on the PTR than the claw mount on my Hensoldt. The PTR was also considerably more accurate, but that is another discussion. 2. use a Hensoldt on a claw mount. 3. use a claw mount with a Picatinny rail on top. 4. send your rifle to Ghilliebear on HKPro. problem is after you do this you can never use a claw mount. so i'd try one of the above before you go this route. jm .02.
