Pull down on the base of your shifter, under that there’s a little clip you have to disengage to remove your shift knob. Then you can pull the shifter trim interior piece up and look around for something.There is a plastic mechanism under the shift knob/handle, brake shift lock that prevents shifting out of park if the brake is not pressed, or the key is not inserted and turned to the run position.
